This is a replica of the H47 Stratotone that Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys plays. I started with an original Harmony neck and I made the body with .140″ solid wood bookmatched flame maple top and bottom (not plywood like the original), solid core wood and thin maple sides (mahogany kerf lining), triple W/B/W bindings and a vintage H48 neck. It’s finished in a faded cherryburst and black nitrocellulose paint.
